((Lolit-ler is away planning new designs for his spring collection, he’ll be back in feb))
“Well even if your story is the same there must be something different. I mean, what can you do? You must have some sort of different talent, yes? Or something that sets you apart from the others?” he asked him, the maid coming back in and placing two trays of tea and cakes down in front of them before bowing and leaving. Lolit-ler smiled and took a mint cream cake, taking a small bite then dabbing his lips, reapplying his green lipstick.
“You never told me your name for one thing”
“haha well that’s adorable, I’m glad I can be included~”
Lolit-ler was going to push the whole thing a little more but he didn’t want to risk losing Greeds business so he quickly went down a different path.
“Well then, now that that’s all done, how about we have some tea and sweetcake?” he offered, smiling at the other and ringing a small bell on his desk, one of his workers coming in.
“Hello, yes, please bring us in two afternoon tea sets, please and thank-you~” he coo’ed, flipping his hand towards the woman who nodded and quickly went off to make the order.
“now then, why don’t you tell me about yourself sir hmm?”
Lolit-ler’s grip tightened on the pencil and he looked up from under his bangs when Greed said about touching his maids.
“Did I make any inclination that I thought you touched you staff? The fact you brought it up makes me think you’re just making a point. Silly boy” he sighed and continued to sketch, looking at Greed now and again, frowning a little and scribbling something out before making some edits.
“Here, what about this? A three part suit with a waist coat, under shirt, and over coat with trailing back. I can shorten it, but long coat tails are going to be all the rage next year, I have my inside sources” he explained, tapping the design with his pencil.
Oh. A repeat customer? The best kind.
“Sweetie, I’m the best there is. They’ll love the designs, I can tell. Now then, how many maids do you have, and what build are they? Are they all woman, or men?” he asked, needing to note down some basic information.
“you don’t want me to design you anything, do you? I could make you a nice suit to match, something…form fitting, stylish, but with flare. Eye-catching, but not gaudy” he mused, clearly all ready getting into the zone again as he started to scribble down suit designs for the other.
Lolit-ler pulled the leaflet back, looking over the design he’d chosen. Hm. Maybe he hadn’t given Greed enough fashion credit…that deign would look awfully good in green.
“Yes, that can be arranged. What shade? If you’re going to have the main body changed to green I’d recommend keeping either the red lace trim or changing it to black, depending on if you want them to be more Christmas orientated, or something that can carry its own into spring” as he spoke he reached to the side where a rabbit shaped pencil holder rested, pulling one of several notepads stacked up on the side of the desk out, and then proceeded to start scribbling down idea’s and edits to his original design, all the while going on about trims and sizing.
“These, here. What about this?” he asked, turning the notebook around after a few minutes, five slightly different designs drawn out on the page for Greed to look at.
“I used the design you chose as a base, but I can change the design to be worn throughout the year. I don’t know you budget, or how many dresses you want to commission after all, I’m guessing you’d like them to last more than a month though, yes?”
He wouldn’t allow someone to wear his winter designs outside of the regulated months. That was just… too horrible to even think of.
“Well that’s no surprise, my deigns are the best around that’s for sure, at least your maids have good taste unlike some people” it was clear the other was a little bitter about this whole ordeal, turning his nose up when Greed started to smoke, making a small noise of annoyance at the back of his throat.
“Kindly put that out. Not everyone wants their clothes smelling like cancer” he snapped, voice drawn thin as he glared up at him from under black bangs. The man may have dressed cutely but it was clear that when someone got off on his wrong foot? Well, it would take a lot to win his favour.
“Now then, what sort of deigns are you looking for anyway, customs? Or something from one of my collections? The new winter collection is coming out soon if you’d like to look” he pulled through some magazines on his desk, handing a leaflet to the other with the new winter collection section printed throughout.
